Juniper Village at Brookline residents and associates were guests of honor at a November 17th performance of The Power of Love: Passions of Handel and Vivaldi on the Penn State campus.
Presented by the university's Center for the Performing Arts and sponsored by Juniper Village, the performance was the fourth time that the Apollo's Fire Cleveland Baroque Orchestra has graced Schwab Auditorium with its "vibrant, life-affirming approach to the remaking of early music" (BBC Magazine). As sponsors, Juniper was greeted at the door of the theater, given top billing in the concert program, and verbally recognized throughout the evening for its gracious support of the fine arts, and the greater Penn State/State College communities. The concert featured George Frideric Handel arias, from the new Apollo's Fire album, plus fiery Antonio Vivali concertos.
